Villa de la Torche is a family beach villa enjoying a fabulous location surrounded by fields and woodland less than one mile from the stunning beaches at the southern end of the Baie d' Audierne. Once a simple farmhouse, it has been completely renovated to provide modern accommodation, tastefully furnished and very well equipped.

Within one mile of this family beach villa is Plage de La Torche, internationally renowned as a paradise for all board sports, particularly windsurfing. There is a great beach café and surf shop nestling behind the dunes, or walk out onto Pointe de la Torche for a great view of the sweeping sandy beaches of the Baie d' Audierne. Horse riding is a delight along this stretch of coast, and there is a riding stable 100 metres from the house. Or just take your bucket and spade onto the golden sands and see what you can create.

South of this family beach villa, the giant lighthouse of Eckmuhl stands on the Pointe de Penmarc'h. Around the southern edge of this headland is a succession of fishing ports; St-Geunole, Lesconil, Loctudy and Le Guilvinec, where a daily show of trawlers come into port laden with lobster, eel and hake. Pont l' Abbe is a wonderful, historic town, and beyond that the charming port of Sainte-Marine and the tiny alleys of Ile-Trudy lined with quaint white houses are a must to visit.
