If you wish to spend a lovely holiday in a modern house, full of light and easy going I suggest choosing Le Rivage. This house is in fact one of 4 identical villas completely independent, and of the same standing, in a little domain. Due to its bungalow style it is an ideal place for a family with small children, or clients who prefer to avoid steps. It is so easy to enjoy the pleasure of the beach which is only 500 m from the property, or take advantage of the proximity of the lovely town of Calvi. In fact, from my point of view, it is an ideal situation to explore this area.

In Calvi you will be attracted by the history and heritage; the famous Citadellle will be number one on your list. But Calvi also has the reputation of a micro climate with long days of sun and a breeze coming from the sea which avoids the very hot climate of other destinations. This town is the capital of the area of Balagne. This area is known as the garden of Corsica due to the vegetation and particularly the vineyards which spread from the top of the hill to the seafront. If you are fond of wild nature, you could take one of the shuttles from Calvi which will take you to the nature reserve of Scandola. This reserve is well known for its fabulous scenery with steep cliffs, red rock hills, and virgin creeks where the sea is full of fish; a real paradise!
