Situated in the picturesque village of Lumio with fantastic sea views across the bay of Calvi, this villa in Corsica is an imposing property in a privileged position. Decorated in neutral colours, Fontanella is beautifully light and airy throughout and enjoys a large terrace, accessible from most rooms, with fabulous views of the village and the sea.

The nearest shops and resturants in Lumio are only 200 metres and the beach is less than a mile. The lively regional town of Calvi is only 4 miles away from this villa in Corsica and enjoys a typically French café culture in the ancient citadel and lovely quayside restaurants.  In summer take the little train which chugs along a small railway line from Calvi to Ile Rousse, discovering hidden coves and sandy beaches along the way and finishing at the chic boutiques of Ile Rousse itself.

Inland is Monte Cinto, the highest mountain in Corsica and beyond is Corte, the main town of the central mountain region and the gateway to the Restonica and Tavignano Valleys, where day hikes and lake swimming are a must to experience Corsica’s true natural wilderness first hand.
