Not far from the villa, it is very pleasant to walk around the ramparts of the village of St Paul de Vence, amble round the narrow streets, browse in the many art galleries, antique shops and boutiques. The medieval town of Vence is also worth visiting, you can admire the many water fountains (the most famous is “La Fontaine du Peyra”), the architecture and the Matisse chapel.
