The accommodation offers flexibility and privacy too, with one of the five ensuite bedrooms having its own separate entrance in the garden and another accessed via the summer kitchen and thus slightly removed from the main bustle of the house. If you are concerned about the heat in July and August, you will be pleased to know that three of the bedrooms have air conditioning, and you can of course close the shutters like the locals do, to keep the villa cool.

It will be hard to drag yourselves away from this villa, even to visit all the wonderful places on your doorstep! Le Rouret has some small shops and a good restaurant, and just 4 miles away is Valbonne, with its narrow streets and pretty square, where you will find a wide selection of cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries. There is also a small market here each Friday. For a change from the beach and pool, and for a fascinating taste of both modern and historic France, do visit Grasse, the perfume capital of France.
