It's extremely comfortable, with very interesting pieces inside which have been collected by the owners on their travels. You are bound to appreciate the huge windows and fantastic views, which complement the spacious feel inside the villa. Vence, only a mile away, is famed for its numerous fountains and its architecture: a lovely place to spend some time. There is the famous Chapelle du Rosaire, decorated by Matisse, and a little further down the road you have St Paul de Vence, immortalised by figures like Yves Montand and Henri Salvador. If you are interested in modern art, then you must visit the Maeght Foundation which has recently undergone a major refurbishment.
