Ferme des Legendes is a recently restored typical Perigordian stone French cottage at the entrance of the Chateau des Legendes estate. With beamed ceilings and original tiled and wooden floors, this is a charming cottage in a delightful rural setting.

The Dordogne offers a multitude of historic sites, including the beautiful Renaissance town of Sarlat, numerous medieval castles, and picturesque villages and towns seemingly unchanged by the passage of time. There's plenty for families in this area, with canoeing and kayaking along the Dordogne, or boat trips in the traditional gabares, horse-riding, cycling and treetop adventure parks, all with easy reach. This region is also world famous for its many caves with ancient wall paintings and spectacular rock formations: Lascaux is just 25 miles away, and an underwater boat ride through the ancient caves at Gouffres du Padirac would also make a memorable day out for holidaymakers of all ages.

Sample the wonderful local gastronomic delights - truffle, fois gras and confit, walnuts, chestnuts and cepes, as well as the well known wines from the Bergerac and Bordeaux vineyards are all accessible from this French cottage.
