This elegant, 18th century three-storey Aix-en-Provence vacation home is set within beautiful, formal gardens just 10 minutes walk from the heart of Aix-en-Provence. The classic tree-lined boulevards and cascading fountains for which Aix is known are reflected within these wonderful, private grounds. The villa, although completely refurbished, retains its authenticity through the use of fine antique furnishings and traditional décor.
Aix-en-Provence is one of France's most beautiful university cities with a wealth of museums, art galleries, shops, and Michelin-star restaurants, as well as a fascinating old town. Musical events held during the summer months range from classical and jazz concerts to opera, ballet and a piano festival in nearby La Roque d'Antéron.
You are ideally placed here at this Aix-en-Provence vacation home to explore all the delights of Provence; the Luberon National Park to the north east, the Alpilles and the Papal city of Avignon to the north west, and the Camargue to the west, one of Europe's most important nature reserves, known for its pink flamingos, black fighting bulls and white horses.
