Provence family country cottage for rent - This charming period cottage, nestled in the heart of Provence near Gordes, boasts magnificent views of the surrounding hills and countryside and offers wonderful opportunities for bike rides and walks in the Luberon region. All the furnishings and decorations of Fleur de Gordes are typical Provencal to allow guests to fully absorb the atmosphere and lifestyle of this beautiful French region, where good food, excellent wines and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities abound.
The enclosed grounds are laid to lawn, perfect for children to play, and are planted with numerous colourful oleanders, shrubs and maritime pine trees which give the garden an immaculate manicured look. In this charming oasis guests will have the chance to relax by the heated pool and dine al fresco soaking up the amazing views of the Luberon hill.

The housekeeper is adorable: she will make you feel very at home. Down the road is Coustellet, which you have to visit. One particular "must visit" is Maison Gouin, a family-run business, butcher cum delicatessen, all organic; best of all is when you have dinner or lunch there you are invited down in to the cellar to choose your own bottle. Coustellet is also famous for holding the best farmers' market in Provence. This takes place on Sundays and is not geared to tourists, so remains a true Provencal experience. There is also a small new restaurant here called WO Sushi, which may be worth trying if you want a change from typical Provencal cuisine!
