The village of Lalevade with its microclimate boasts about 300 sunny days a year, so chances are you will have good holiday weather! A great place to stay with a large family group or group of friends, particularly if you are active sporty types. The house is impressive, as you can see from the pictures, and so is the terrain in this part of the Ardeche - perfect for hiking, cycling and canoeing. A few miles away you’ll find Aubenas, a larger village with shops and restaurants. Close to the castle here you’ll find Le Duguesclin Restaurant and Pizzeria, wood-baked by the boss Bruno, they say he offers 72 varieties of small or “huge” pizzas!
