Description This modern family french village villa rental is set on the edge of the village of Villedieu with magnificent views over the surrounding vineyards. The villa is stylish, spacious, very well equipped and luxuriously furnished. Adjacent to the main villa is a charming converted chapel providing independent accommodation for 2 people. This is included in your rental from mid July to end August, but is an optional extra at other times. Just a short walk away is the village of Villedieu with shops, restaurants and a post office. Nearby Vaison-la-Romaine has two centres; a romantic medieval town perched high on the rocks overlooking its modern sister, full of bustling cafés, chic boutiques and small shops selling local handicraft and mouth-watering regional agricultural products. Villa la Chapelle is situated in the department of Vaucluse which spans from the Luberon to the Dentelles de Montmirail. This region is renowned for its fine wines but also popular with ramblers, cyclists and horse riders. There are theatre shows and musical concerts held in the Roman amphitheatre in Orange. Mont Ventoux, the highest peak in Provence, is only 20 minutes away and the gothic palace at Avignon should not be missed. |
