Maison Lotoise is in an enviable position on the edge of three départements and therefore central to everything this appealing region has to offer, with easy access to the many tourist attractions of the Lot, Tarn et Garonne, Aveyron valley and Dordogne. This beautiful and varied landscape encompasses forested hills and valleys, dramatic river cliffs and rolling farmland. Throughout the Lot and Quercy region there are numerous charming villages, some on hilltops with magnificent views. The area is of course famous for its local produce, which you will find in abundance at the weekly markets in the nearby bastide village of Montcuq and Montaigu de Quercy.

You'll be spoilt for choice with things to do during your holiday at this South west France countryside villa: boating, water sports, parachuting and mountain biking are all available. There is canoeing and kayaking on the Lot and Dordogne rivers, and four golf clubs, some with tennis courts and clubhouse restaurants, close by. You are also close to the well-known GR65 hikers' path. There is a swimming lake with sandy beaches and playground at Montcuq and another at Montaigu, where there are also pedaloes. Parc Walabi near Agen, a popular theme park for adults and children, would also make good day trips from Maison Lotoise, as would the towns of Moissac and Cahors.
