Exclusive St Tropez hillside vacation villa – Nestled on a hillside within the lavish forest of the Massif des Maures, La Bruyère is a stone-built country villa full of character and appeal, enjoying splendid 180˚degree panoramic views over the surrounding rolling hills and valleys, stretching as far as the sea and Gulf of St Tropez. This villa boasts an idyllic situation, in a peaceful, unspoilt corner of Southern France, surrounded by nature, yet within a few minutes's drive from the village of La Garde Freinet.
The interior is tastefully decorated with traditional French furniture, beamed ceilings and a large stone fireplace as a focal point of the light and airy living area. All spacious bedrooms boast unrivalled views across the valley and most have a private access to the garden and the large decked terrace equipped with comfortable garden furniture. Towering over acres of uninterrupted woodland, the annex bedroom is the highest point of the villa, enjoying magnificent, panoramic views.
As you leave La Bruyère, you have the choice to explore the mountain range of the Massif de Maures, densely coated with pine, oak and sweet chestnut trees, and further north the Provencal rolling countryside, or you can head south and enjoy the glorious French Riviera with its fine sandy beaches along the bay of St Tropez, at only 15 miles from this exclusive vacation villa. Celebrities still moor their multimillionaires’ yachts in the harbour of this famous town which, despite the touristic development of the Sixties, still retains the charm of the old fishing village it once was. Its pavement cafés and restaurants make the ideal base for people- and yacht-watching. The nearest sandy beaches to La Bruyère can be found in Cogolin, a cheerful coastal village, surrounded by vineyards, with a lively weekly market and exciting musical events throughout the summer.
