The fabulous bedroom suites offer flexibility for families, each with their own LDC TV, DVD and mini-bar. Venture out of your private suite and you have a cinema & music room, billiard room, three living rooms, a professional kitchen and a stunning dining room with acoustically damped, 25 foot ceilings creating an ideal function room for that special event.
The chateau sits in 5 acres of private parkland on the outskirts of Marthon, a small village on the border between the Charente and Dordogne regions. It has a tabac, small restaurant, bakery, butcher and pharmacy. Further afield, there are many small restaurants to choose from in the unspoilt villages of the region.

Angouleme is less than 30 minutes away with a busy social calendar of events throughout the year. Dating from the 10th century and built dramatically on a hillside, Angouleme' s old town has cobbled streets packed with buzzing and friendly restaurants and cafes. The large and culturally diverse city of Bordeaux is less than 90 minutes away.
