Situated between Siena and Florence, Giulia holds a fantastic cooking course from her family country house in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from an expert who was born and bred in the region and has been cooking all of her life. She gained her skill cooking beside her very talented mother and grandmother. There is a range of different authentic Italian experiences to choose from. One offers the chance to shop for produce at the local market, living like a local and talking to the friendly producers who know Giulia by name. The group will come together in the picturesque olive garden and enjoy the foods they have created while soaking up the Italian sunshine. To make the trip that bit more enjoyable, a private driver can be arranged at an additional cost, so there is no worrying about arranging travel. Giulia can take her masterclass in any environment, so another alternative is to opt for a class from your very own luxury holiday villa in Tuscany. “Become a Tuscan Chef for the Day” 

Based in the heart of Florence, just a stone’s throw away from the Duomo and Central Market, this three-hour cooking class is a sound introduction to Tuscan cuisine. Chef Giovanni and his assistant Andrea will accompany you to the market to select the freshest ingredients available that are in season. Here you will pick up some handy tips on how to choose the best of the product offering. You might even get to sample the ham, cheese and bread before head back to the cooking school to get started. Creations include traditional bruschetta, fresh homemade pasta and a selection of typical Tuscan main courses. At the end of this hands-on lesson, you will be able to sit down with classmates to enjoy your dishes with a couple of glasses of wine. You will then receive your graduation certificate! Barbara and Silvia will teach the secrets of making pizza, calzone, focaccia and a savoury cake. These all are fantastic examples of how olive oil can influence the overall taste of food. At the end of the course, you can enjoy the dishes you have made, along with carefully-selected local wine, a certificate of participation and a booklet with information about olive oil. 

Cook a Tuscan Meal with a View

Professional chef Emma Mantovani invites you to her traditional farmhouse that sits atop a hill, with a 360-view of the Val d’Elsa, just ten miles away from San Gimignano. From antipasti to dessert, and everything in between, you’ll practice Emma’s trade secrets and taste an array of fresh vegetables and cheeses and Emma’s very own homemade olive oil. At the end of the lesson, you’ll enjoy all of your creations from the beautiful terrace, taking in the spectacular countryside that surrounds you. A truly unforgettable experience that gives you a real taste of Tuscany! The course is located in the heart of the Chianti wine-making region, so spend one day cooking up a storm in the kitchen and the next exploring the vineyards of the area!  


One-of-a-kind Cooking Lesson with a Michelin Star Chef! 

Those in search of something a little more exclusive can opt for a lesson at the professional kitchen at Antinori’s Fonte de Medici Estate. Here you can learn how to prepare a complete four-course menu! During the experience, you’ll enjoy tasting various delights, including pecorino cheeses, balsamic vinegar and delicious chocolate before trying your hand at creating some of the more advanced dishes. Upon completion, you’ll receive a complimentary recipe book so you can take all of your newfound skills home for all your friends and family to enjoy. You will then travel to a fourth-century abbey eighteen miles south of the city! Here you can enjoy the same meals you have just learnt to prepare, before finishing with a tasting of olive oil.
