Eating Italy, a tour operator that describes itself as a foodie
guide to Italy that offers you insiders tips on how to make the most of your
visit which has gathered a host of top attractions, restaurants, bars and
places to stay in Florence, has some exciting news! It has been announced that
they will be expanding its current portfolio by unveiling a new food tour near
our Florence villas.
Kenny Dunn, the managing director of Eating Europe Tours, which
is the parent company of Eating Italy recently expressed his delight at the
news, saying: We are really proud to be launching in our second Italian city
after Rome, and our fifth city in Europe.
He added: Our company has seen tremendous growth in the
past five years from a single tour in a single city to eight food tours in four
cities across Europe today. Florence has such a strong culinary influence that
we felt it was the next logical step in our expansion in Italy.
If you are salivating at the idea of this new tour, and what
to know what it entails, you can look forward to a host of food and wine
tastings at as many as eight authentic stops, with those participating also
given the opportunity to sample the local salami, learn how to make Italian
cantucci (cookies), and experience the neighbourhoods Bohemian feel.
Participants can also enjoy a glass of Chianti, Tuscanys famous wine, as well
as one of Italys most famous desserts, the renowned gelato.
You can book tours, which will run six days a week, from Monday
through to Saturday, 10am to 2pm, at a cost of 84 for adults, 72 for adolescents,
and 50 for children.
