Having around double the surface area of the United Kingdom, France is a vast country, varying massively from end to end due not only to its many different landscapes but also to the variety of cultural influences the country has seen over the centuries, from the Celts to the Spanish and the Germans.

Such variety has made France a wildly popular country to visit, with many holiday villas in France now cropping up as a result. Many corners of the country boast a wealth of attractions, which range from historical and religious monuments to untouched natural beauty.
