From next year, it will be easier to access one of the
best-loved regions in France than ever before, as British Airways have
announced that they are to launch a new service between London City and
The new route will be operated by the carrier four times a
week, running initially as a seasonal service from May to September.
Outbound services will depart from London City airport on
Mondays at 11.15, returning at 13.50; on Fridays at 09.30, returning at 13.15,
and on Sundays at 17.10, returning at 19.45. There will also be an additional
flight every Thursday from June 23 to September 1, departing at 11.15 and
returning at 13.50.
With several British people now enjoying holidays in the
Dordogne or even owning their own Dordogne villas, there is more demand for
easy access to the region from the UK than ever. With this new schedule,
visitors can even head over for a long weekend, with the Sunday evening flight
meaning they can even return to work for the Monday morning.
Located in the Royal Docks, London City airport is just 6
miles from Central London, making it the most central London airport and the
easiest to access for residents of London.
