See the best in French tennis at the Open de Caen

14th December, 2015
The Caen Tennis Open will return this year between the 13th and 16th of December, bringing together France?s best tennis players for an unmissable sporting event.

Hosted and organised by the Caen Tennis Club since 2007, the event is one of the most prestigious in France, and is considered the first national amateur tournament, taking place at the city?s Zenith exhibition centre. Over 10,000 spectators descend upon the event, situated near many of our Normandy villas, every year to witness some first-class matches which will enthrall both the tennis enthusiast and the casual fan.

Among the stars who will be taking part in this major sport competition are Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who is currently 10th in the world, and Benoit Paire, who ranks 20th, as well as Paul-Henri Mathieu, who has competed several times in the tournament previously.

With relatively few sporting events taking place at this time of year, the Caen Open is definitely one of the sporting highlights going on in France during the winter. For the majority of matches, booking is required, as the event has acquired an astounding popularity during the nine years it has been established so far.
