Regional airline Flybe has now made it even easier to travel
between the UK and France with new routes added between the south coast?s Southampton
and three French destinations: Biarritz, Toulon Hyeres and Bastia.
Biarritz, found on the Basque coast, has been a popular
holiday destination ever since the 1800s, when it was first visited by British
royalty such as Queen Victoria, and is well-known for its excellent
water-sports facilities and nightlife. For the first time, Flybe will be adding
flights from Southampton to Biarritz three days a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Sundays) between July 3 and September 25.
Toulon-Hyeres airport is the gateway to the
Provence-Alpes-Cote-d?Azur region, hugely popular with holidaymakers for its
range of diverse landscapes, from the towering mountains of the Alps to rolling
vineyards and the world-renowned beaches of the Cote d?Azur. Visitors will now
be able to fly between Southampton and Toulon three times a week between July
and September, on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Southampton to Bastia, situated on the Mediterranean island
of Corsica, is a returning route, running every Sunday between May 22 and
September 18.
Many of our luxury French gites and villas can be found in
Biarritz and the Provence-Alpes-Cote-d?Azur region, so if you?re planning on
staying with us, why not make getting there easier by taking advantage of these
new flights?
