From its tranquil hilltop position near the town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar, Villa Infinity commands unparalleled views over the Makarska Riviera and the island of Brac, in an idyllic country estate comprising extensive lavender fields bordered with dry stone walls. You will love discovering every corner of this beautiful property which dates back to the early 1900s and still retains an incredible charm throughout. Original features include terracotta floors, exposed beams and ample use of local dry stone, according to the traditional custom. All bedrooms now have ensuite facilities, combining the authentic atmosphere of the past with present day comfort. The accommodation is spread over three independent stone buildings, thus giving flexibility to larger parties. Aftr a lazy day spent playing tennis or sunbathing by the pool, you can dine al fresco as the sun sets and the twinkling lights of the Markarska Riviera come alive.
The Island of Hvar has recently become one of the most sought after holiday destinations in the entire Adriatic. The capital town of Hvar is very popular among celebrities with their court of paparazzi and yacht travellers, as well as party and night life enthusiasts. However, families travelling with young children and teenagers equally find the island appealing for its wide offer of outdoor activities, pebbly beaches with crystal clear water, a magnificent mountainous landscape crisscrossed by hiking and cycling trails, sloping down to the coast with its dramatic coves and rocky outcrops. Both Hvar and Stari Grad, which is the main port of the island, feature each a very atmospheric Medieval town centre, with narrow streets, small squares lined with old stone houses, monasteries, churches and museums. Pavement cafes, shops and restaurants line the streets and bay of Stari Grad, which is a family-oriented resort with a laidback lifestyle. Once a fishing village, the old quarter of Jelsa is also worth a visit, and it's only a few kilometres away from your villa. Here you can see the fortified parish and a museum with a large collection of paintings and unusual souvernirs. If you take a taxi boat from Jelsa harbour you can explore the Glavica Peninsula in search of panoramic view points and beaches.
