Family, child, baby villas to rent in France

Essentially any property with a swimming pool (add sunshine, a garden and the general feel good vibe of being on holiday!) will be a winning situation if you have the kids with you. Many of the owners of the villas we work with have families of their own, this means children of all ages (and sometimes grand children) perhaps already use the villa when it is not rented, but most importantly there is more than a suggestion that the villas come with child friendly elements, whether they are things like cots and highchairs (which are customary at nearly all properties), to wendy houses in the garden, swings, slides, toys, books and games. Often included are games consoles (such as playstations) plus childrens television channels and in some of the villas - table tennis tables, badminton set ups, table football, cinema rooms and more.

The family villas we feature in France, as well as having the required 'wow' factor expected (such as infinity pools, stunning exteriors, sea views and so on) are also usually presented with children in mind. Where possible and where it is obvious, owners of the villas concerned will state in the property descriptions if there are aspects that may mean a property is less suitable for any particular age group. These statements should not always be taken literally and an onus of responsibility always rests with the adults in the party, however these inclusions can offer guidance to chosing the best villa for a family holiday.

For the 'older children' some of the villas include petanque, so all the family are entertained!

When on holiday with the family, a villa offers a way to control ones lifestyle in a way that is not possible in a hotel for example. Shop at the supermarket, haggle at the markets and fill your own fridge and eat when you want to (as well as what you want to). Take advantage of the barbecue if one is available, not worrying too much if the clouds of smoke from burnt sausages will offend anyone (usually the neighbour will be too far away!) and make merry as a family should.

Swimming pools in France by law must have safety features - pool alarms, covers and fences all in general use, although always ask about your chosen villa if a particular type is preferable to you (remembering that common sense and taking care is the best preventative measure for accidents). However pool safety is a great feature and offers some added peace of mind. Pools at some of the family friendly villas we feature also have shelved/beach style entrances, roman steps and so on. This means those inexperienced swimmers, with a little assistance, can soon build up confidence. For more about the swimming pools at the villas in the programme, please click here.

If you are looking to travel to France this year and are looking for a family villa to rent, we would suggest calling our office and explaining your needs and we can suggest some villas to consider, alternatively browsing online will quickly give you a list of properties which may suit your party that can then be followed up on.

We look forward to hearing from you and helping you reserve and find the perfect family holiday villa.

Quality Villas have been offering luxury family villas with pools to rent in France for over 29 years. The same philosophy since the company was started remains true today, that is every villa offered should be of the highest standards and be worthy of the 'Quality' name, plus of course be suitable for family holidays.

Every property in France taken is visited personally by a member of the Quality Villa team, thus ensuring standards are maintained. Further, we turn down more properties offered to us than we take on, to ensure we continually offer the best. Being a private, independant and family owned company has allowed us to instil our own values, rather than those of a larger corporate body. To this end, the villas in France that we offer are very much favoured towards families and the family villa market.

A small selection of villas which we know have been enjoyed by families booking through us in the past are shown below. If you would like to read more about a holiday with the family in France, please click here.
