This villa rental in France with heated pool and tennis court is located at the beginning of the 'route de Jacques Coeur', an historical highway with many châteaux, manors, abbeys and churches set along it.  Built during the 15th and 16th centuries, this property is steeped in history; once the residence of a Templar knight commander, nowadays it offers a peaceful and calm holiday location in the heart of France.

This villa rental in France has been beautifully restored and furnished. Warm colours and fabrics and period furniture create an inviting ambience. Delightfully mature gardens are filled with fruit trees, some 300 years old, and set against a forest backdrop. Relax by the private heated swimming pool or enjoy a game of tennis on your own private tennis court.

The delights of the Loire valley make an excellent day out from Templier. An hour or so's drive will bring you to superb chateaux such as Chambord and Chenonceau, with Amboise about an hour and a half away. And don't miss a visit to Bourges during your stay here. Although slightly off the beaten track for foreign visitors, it was once the capital of France, and its cathedral is second only to that of Notre Dame in Paris in terms of size. The town is also known for its beautiful gardens. This villa rental in France is well positioned to explore the Loire valley and the heart of France.

“ The Loire Valley is an enchanted land of vineyards, flowers and rolling green hills dotted with more than a thousand wonderful chateaux. The region is called the "garden of France" and lives up to its name, with an abundance of farm-fresh products: poultry, game and fish, vegetables and fresh fruit and ,of course, the famous "Tarte Tatin". The Loire Valley boasts a number of mouth-watering cheeses, 5 of which are certified local products. And if you feel like some exercise after sampling the regional dishes why not try canoeing and kayaking along the Loire, France's longest river - it's so much fun!  There is fishing throughout the Loire basin and  various balades and excursions along the river. ”
