Walking along the stunning rocky coastlines, meandering footpaths and sandy beaches of Le Pouldu is one of life's simple pleasures, and that's exactly why people come here, to do just that. Located in the Finistere region of Brittany, near Molean Sur Mer, Le Pouldu has three fantastic beaches - Kerou, Grand Sable and Ballignet, all connected by a coastal path. Full of pretty little coves and panoramic clifftop views, it's a photographer's paradise and visited by many artists including Gaugin. The village itself has a couple of cute cafes, an excellent fish restaurant, bakeries and grocers, and plenty of other shops in nearby villages, which are well worth visiting. Doelan, the delightful romantic port nearby is the place to go and buy freshly caught fish straight off the boats and boasts stunning coastal views. For the active visitor, there's ample opportunities to cycle, horse ride, hike and fish, when you're not gazing at the beautiful deep blue sea of course.
