Manoir Le Gouray is a beautifully restored 18th century Breton manor house, on the the edge of the forest of Bouquen, just two miles from the villages of Le Gouray and Collinee, both with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

The property has large grounds, with a lawn for children to play. The accommodation is separated into three buildings set around a central garden, each with its own unique charm and style featuring original fireplaces, wooden beams, exposed stone walls and antique furnishings. This manoir would make the perfect place for a family holiday or an extended family gathering in a region packed with outdoor activities to choose from, attractive destinations for day trips and a striking seascape to discover on foot, by bicycle or horseback.

Twenty minutes north is the medieval town of Lamballe with shops, restaurants and rail links to Rennes and Paris. Most importantly, every Thursday evening in summer the town hosts Les Regalades - family friendly open air banquets held in the main square, where hot food is served accompanied by music entertainment. In Lamballe, you can also browse the largest market in the area, enjoy a horse and carriage ride or watch equestrian shows. A further twenty minutes by car is the fine port town of Pleneuf-Val-Andre and the wonderful coastaline of northern Brittany with 'pirate' coves, clifftop walks, headlands and long sandy beaches. The beautiful town of Dinan is well worth visiting too. When it comes to outdoor pursuits you will be spoilt for choice; watersports, bike rides, boat tours departing from Dahouet marina, bird watching on Ile Verdelet, horse riding and golfing will keep the whole family amused throughout the holiday.

“ This is a very attractive house in lovely surroundings and ideal for families. There are plenty of activities in the local area such as riding, cycling and tennis, and the beach is only about 40 minutes' drive so quite convenient for day or half-day trips! Don't miss a visit to Dinan, just 25 miles away - about half an hour. It's one of Brittany's best preserved towns with a beautiful historic centre and a lovely port. And you're in Brittany, so do go to a creperie and enjoy some of the local waffles and pancakes, specialities of the region! ”
