Villa near Roscoff: Ferme de Trez is a beautiful stone farmhouse on the edge of a wood in the sleepy hamlet of Plouneour-Trez and just 1 mile from the beach! Completely renovated but retaining a wealth of period features, this is a wonderful house, ideal for families to enjoy the very best of this fantastic stretch of coast, known as the 'Cote des Legendes'.
Miles of white sandy beaches and rocky outcrops offer younger families hours of fun building sandcastles and rockpooling. This Brittany beach house is on a large tidal bay which offers great sailing for all abilities. There are sailing schools at Brignogan Plage, and sand-yachting and archery are available at Plouneour-Trez itself. In early August the 'Transbaie' race is fun for all with adults and children building their own sailing craft from recycled materials and setting sail across the bay.
Charming ports with seafront restaurants dot this idyllic coastline close to this Brittany beach house, serving fresh fish dishes and more. Getting there couldn't be easier as it is just 45 minutes from either the ferry at Roscoff, or the airport at Brest. Yet once you are here, it seems like a world away from the stresses of everyday life.

Ferme de Trez is of course wonderful
Great service and client care from Quality Villas. Ferme de Trez is of course wonderful and the owner and her husband could not be more accommodating or charming. They are lovely and clearly take great pride in the property and making sure that the guests enjoy it. A few small glitches in not having hot water for a couple of days and the pool filter being broken/needing replacement so the pool was a bit of a strange colour. My wife pointed out that a small house instruction manual for such things as the TV, washing machine and so on would have been useful.
a truly wonderful holiday
The Dodd family
Just to thank quality villas for superb service, had a truly wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate in recommending your company. Please pass on our thanks to the owners of Ferme de Trez, we left for the ferry port before we had a chance to see them personally and thank them for all they did for us. The farmhouse was truly beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Thanks once again. The Dodd family
A good stay
We just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Plouneour le trez. The house was lovely, the pool was so much bigger and lovelier than we expected and the area just beautiful (although much much farther than we expected from the Tunnel). Please pass our many thanks again to the owners who were incredibly warm and welcoming – a really lovely couple.
This place is a gem!
The Kober family
We went away with our 3 daughters, 2 husbands and 3 young children under 3. Everyone had a great time and the house has plenty of space - to escape if necessary! The swimming pool is excellent and with a lockable door, totally safe when the children are in the garden. We also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area - by foot, bike and car. Pierre and Gisele, the owners, are delightful, helpful and not intrusive. July - Aug 2013.
Pool was great
Pool was great and undersold on the website.
