Aside from its wondrous views overlooking the Plan du Provence hills, the artistic village of Cabris in the Alpes-Maritime region of Provence is beautiful inside too. And, it really does have something for everyone. Arriving from Grasse, youíll find shady cafť terraces and inviting restaurants under large chestnut trees, and opposite a lovely field with a playground for children. Once fully refreshed, wander into the old village along streets of medieval houses and old stone stairways interspersed with lavender bushes and ancient cypresses, and visit the lovely 17th-century Notre Dame church. Itís no wonder it has attracted many writers and artists. For the family, thereís also the nearby Audides caves to marvel at the wonderful stalactites, and a prehistoric amusement park. And if that isnít enough, try your hand at a number of watersports at Lake St Cassien, which is also close by.
