Originally a farm that produced flowers for the use of local perfume makers, beautifully refurbished La Floraison is a true delight. From its heated pool and full-size hard surface tennis court to the large grounds and comfortable, partly air-conditioned interior, this large French Riviera villa is the ideal place for a week or more of pure relaxation, either as a holiday or to celebrate a special occasion. The position of the house in a residential area, in its own 7 acres of grounds, means you can enjoy the setting - and your privacy - to the full. However La Floraison also enjoys all the advantages of proximity to the centre of an important and lively town, with great restaurants and shops nearby. Having explored Grasse, do go further afield: this villa gives you easy access to appealing inland villages such as Cabris and Valbonne and to Riviera resorts such as Cannes. Cannes is only about 10 miles’ drive and would make an excellent day out: head for the pretty, older districts of Le Suquet or Le Cannet and enjoy the restaurants and the views; or you might like to take a 20-minute ferry trip to the Iles des Lerins, or a stroll along the famous La Croisette promenade. There are beaches here but if you prefer somewhere quieter head west along the coast a little towards Theoule-sur-Mer. For children, this part of France offers a plethora of fun and memorable activities - you'll be spoilt for choice! This large Cote d'Azur villa with heated pool & tennis would be perfect for a large family or group of friends.

Insider Tips

“La Floraison is a very special place with an interesting history as a flower farm, and it has been restored to the highest level. It is situated on the outskirts of  the vibrant city of Grasse, where you should definitely take a little time to soak up the atmosphere of the medieval town centre, as well as pay a visit to a perfume factory (Grasse is considered the world's capital of perfume). There is also an excellent museum here dedicated to the history of perfume. If you like exploring and strolling round, make your way to Place aux Aires, with its excellent restaurants and  great little shops. I can personally recommend Bastide St Antoine, which is in the Guide Michelin, and always a treat to eat at. And after a full day, it will be very relaxing indeed to return to this lovely, tranquil villa. Children will love the Labyrinth park near Villeneuve Loubet (summer opening), Marineland near Antibes and the Canyon Forest outdoor activity centre, also close to Villeneuve Loubet.”

  • We had an incredible stay at La Floraison

    E Headland

We had an incredible stay at La Floraison, thank you. The villa was exceptionally well kitted out and maintained. There is very little constructive criticism to be honest, only that the top bedrooms were without aircon. The chef who came in on the Sunday evening was exceptional – both in his manner and the food he produced. The manager was welcoming, polite and very helpful – we also provided her with very positive feedback. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an indulgent, relaxing week.
