This superb, architect designed villa is wonderfully situated in the hills above Monaco with spectacular views over the Mediterranean, close to the medieval village of La Turbie, perched 450m above Monte Carlo. Thanks to clever integration of old and new, the original 1916 villa is now seamlessly incorporated into this much larger, modern property offering spacious, light and comfortable accommodation throughout.
The immaculate, enclosed grounds are ideally suited to children with a fence around the infinity pool and play house with a slide. The villa boasts a magnificient sea view from both the garden and first floor terrace; a peaceful place with total privacy. Stroll down the elegant staircase to the spacious living areas with large french windows opening onto the garden and terrace. Imagine sitting there with a cocktail or a glass of chilled wine as the sun goes down over Monaco and the surrounding area.
La Turbie offers a plethora of bars and restaurants hidden away in its medieval, cobbled streets for a taste of authentic France. Alternatively, blow the budget in the Casino in fabulous Monte Carlo, followed by a drink in the adjoining Cafe de Paris. People travel far and wide to visit the Friday market in Ventimiglia, just 16 miles away by road, or a lovely coastal train ride. Follow a lively morning at the market with an authentic Italian gelato, then back across to France at the end of the day to dine in the Michelin starred Chevre d'Or in Eze, just 3 miles or so from the villa.

“ I recommend you visit the hilltop village of La Turbie which is close to the villa. You will discover a medieval village with its narrow streets, its ancient houses and defensive walls and most especially, a monument dating back to Roman times " The Trophee des Alpes ", 35 m high.
If you want to have a nice meal, I would suggest you discover La Cave Turbiasque where you have a mixture of Italian and French cuisine adapted to our area, being so close to the Italian border.
In the evening if you prefer to have a glitzy atmosphere, you could go to Monaco to gamble in the Casino or eat in the cafe de Paris. I am sure you will find a lot of activities being so close to the Mediterranean coast, and your holiday will be a memorable one.
We had an absolutely wonderful holiday
We had an absolutely wonderful holiday thank you. The villa was gorgeous - so beautiful and a perfect location. We enjoyed every moment. The only slight issue was that the air conditioning was broken, but we managed to work things out with fans. It is a special place and we were thrilled to spend the week there. Thank you very much indeed for everything you did to help organise our stay.
