In the pretty town of Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes region of south-east France, we have a range of several wonderful luxury holiday villas with pools. Mougins is a circular perched village, which over the years has attracted the likes of Pablo Picasso, who lived and died there, Winston Churchill, Christian Dior and Edith Piaf, to name a few. Just a 15-minute drive from Cannes, you’ll certainly see here a calmer scene. In the centre, you’ll find a number of lovely restaurants and cafes to relax in, and shops to wander around. Due to its circular nature, it’s easy to find your way around the streets, displaying attractive doorways and fantastic buildings at every turn. Take the Rue de l’Eglise up to the 11th century Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur church, or visit the 12th-century chapel, painted by Winston Churchill. There’s a local historical museum near the centre of Mougins village, a small photography museum on Place de l’Englise and of course the wonderful surrounding forests to explore. With plenty to do, the town of Mougins is incredibly family-friendly, and our luxury holiday villas do their best to reflect that too while bringing you the peace and sophistication you’d expect from a holiday tucked away in the French hills.
