“ This lovely house has a lot of charm. I particularly recommend it to those wishing to enjoy peace and tranquillity during their holiday. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac it is very private. However, this doesn't mean the villa is completely isolated! In fact, you have an excellent restaurant called Le Chantergril in the nearby village, just over a mile away, where both food and service are top class. Picnics on the shore of Lac du St Cassien, paddling and swimming in the lake are always enjoyable past times. If you are keen on lovely views, I recommend you visit the small hilltop village of Cabris, with its spectacular Meaditerranean coastal views or the village of St Cezaire famous for its underground caves excavated by the river Siagne. If you want to discover the splendid Cote d'Azur a motorway will take you to Cannes. Here you will find plenty of things to do to suit everybody's taste and age. ”
really nice villa-we would love to come back
We had a great time at Villa Peymeinade in July 2015. Three adults & two teenagers in our party. The villa was beautifully presented and clean with all the equipment that you would need for a holiday stay. Rooms were all spacious and although we were a little worried about the lack of air conditioning (temperatures reached 40C during our stay) the big fans worked really well to give you a comfortable night’s sleep. Beds were very comfortable & teenagers enjoyed the big screen TV. The house manager was brilliant; we arrived late because of traffic but she still found time to guide us to an open supermarket so we could get the essentials. Whilst it would have been nice to be walking distance from the village – particularly the boulangeries – the location was really quiet & peaceful for lazy days around the pool which was beautifully clean and it was really nice to find good quality patio & pool furniture rather than the often tatty stuff we have endured at other villas over the years. Plenty to do nearby without needing to spend hours in the car. Grasse is a lovely small town for shopping & restaurants. Plenty for tourists without being a total tourist trap. Basically, a really nice villa which we would love to come back & stay again sometime in the future.
