Imagine staying in an elegant, pastel French villa with its own private pool, set amidst the hills between La Colle-sur-Loup and the arty town of St Paul de Vence. Imagine no longer, Villa Ste Genevieve is this place, and just five miles from the coast, it's a perfect base for a family or larger group. Sitting comfortably in its Mediterranean surroundings, with splendid views over the the rolling countryside and the town of St Paul de Vence, this is a lovely place to while away the hours, whether it's at the lovely pergola terrace or sitting by the pool watching the children splashing around. From the outside the villa is as pretty as a picture, and inside you'll find elegant French furniture and colourful fabrics to complement it, giving it a distinct European feel. But, Villa Ste Genevieve maintains a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it feel a real 'home from home.' If you like dining out, and in France, who wouldn't? There's two renowned restaurants just under a mile away, offering the chance to taste some fine French cuisine. In fact, you'll find many restaurants in the villages around the region, and of course in St Paul de Vence itself, amongst its many galleries. If you'd like a trip to the beach, Cagnes Sur Mer and Nice are nearby, and if you want to wander around a market, there's the weekly one at Vence Old Town. For a visit to some special glass factories, head to pretty Biot, and Antibes for Marineland and the Aqua Park. Something for everyone...

Villa Ste Genevieve is perfect for those who love good food! In fact there are two well known restaurants just under 1 miles from this villa, called 'Alain Llorca' and 'Nicolas Juste'. I would also recommended 'La Colombe d'Or' in St Paul de Vence which is only one mile away from this villa. St Paul de Vence is a paradise for artists; here you will discover lots of galleries displaying work by Alberto Giacometti, Joan Miro, Georges Braque, René Bonnard and Matisse. We must remember that St Paul has welcomed great artists, actors, singers and poets such as Marc Chagall, Jacques Preverts, James Balduri, Simone Signoret and Yves Montand. It is the place to go if you want to experience the real Cote d'Azur!”
This villa is very well positioned
This villa is very well positioned , minutes from St. Paul, and an easy run down to the coast. It is very well laid out , clean, light and spacious with beautiful garden and pool setting. The three bedrooms upstairs are all good sizes , and all four have good en suites. All services were well provided, and linens fine, kitchen whilst small and a little old fashioned, well equipped..only microwave missing. Only real drawback is that only one bedroom, the master bedroom, has Airconditioning , and this would be a problem in high summer. One of upstairs beds is very low to the ground which could be a problem for older folks. Note from Quality Villas: Fans are available, a microwave has also been requested from the owner for future rentals.
