Perched on a hilltop in the Alpes-Maritimes with far reaching views over Vence and the surrounding hills to the sea, this traditional family villa offers exceptional value. The large Mediterranean garden has ample space for children to play, along with a good sized, fenced pool and a boules pitch. A large pool house equipped with summer kitchen means you can spend all day outdoors, making the most of the wonderful Riviera climate. The main living accommodation is arranged over two floors, which can be accessed independently, perfect for large groups who require a little extra privacy. Additionally there is a lower ground floor providing a very large living space, ideal for family gatherings, with a central open fireplace, summer kitchen, dining tables and games to keep everyone amused, including table tennis. The situation of Les Orangers - so called for the lovely orange trees bordering the pool – could not be better; Vence is only three miles away with shops, restaurants, art galleries and sports facilities. Picturesque villages such as St-Paul-de-Vence and Tourrettes-sur-Loup are nearby, and Cagnes-sur-Mer is only six or so miles for a beautiful 2km stretch of beachfront with beach clubs and water sports. The well-known, must-see destinations of the Cote d'Azur including Mougins, Valbonne, Cannes, Antibes and Nice are all under twenty miles.
This amazing villa can appeal to everyone but I would particularly recommended it for families. Vence is a very attractive town indeed, featuring the chapel of Matisse, for those fond of art, many lovely craft boutiques and gorgeous restaurants, such as Les Templiers, or La Regence café, under the shade of Place du Jardin, one of my favourites!

Worth the extra bit of money for best quality French house we've stayed in - and that's a lot of gites and villas down the years - and friendly, efficient service.
The Howard family
We had a wonderful holiday at Villa des Orangers with wonderful staff who were very supportive and helpful. The villa itself is magnificent – the views, the pool and the gardens. Very well-equipped and very generous with all the mod cons. We had some wonderful days out too.
Vence is a beautiful quaint and historic village full of great things to explore and lovely places to eat and drink. Biot is also worth a look. Lac Cassien has some great watersports for the kids and is a great walk around the Lake. The shopping at Polygone Riveira is also great for a look around. Probably our favourite place to eat is La Cabane at St-Laurent du Var and a surprisingly lovely place to spend an evening. We loved our welcome gift. Thank you so much for a wonderful couple of weeks.
Family Fernandez Ferreira
We had a great time at Villa des Orangers. We enjoyed both the house itself with the excellent pool outdoor space, facilities to enjoy time with family (e.g. ping pong).
We visited the area as well.
St-Paul-de-Vence – a must where we went several times
Cap Ferrat and the beautiful Eze, something not to miss – excellent views!
Tourettes-sur-Loup – a very nice and beautiful preserved village
Cagnes-sur-Mer was an excellent surprise – nice walk along the seaside and good restaurants with top views over the sea.
Thank you for all the hospitality. Thank you for the welcome gifts . We enjoyed all of them!
