Luberon villa with pool Provence - La Luberonne is a charming villa with pool in a pretty garden, just half a mile from the attractive perched village of St Saturnin les Apt. In just 10 or 15 minutes you can walk uphill to restaurants, bakeries and local shops, and you can enjoy great views from the castle ruins at the top of the hill. Typically Provencal in style, but with modern essentials such as WiFi, this house is comfortably furnished and ideal for couples or a small family who want to make the most of this lovely part of France. Well-known authors and filmmakers have contributed to increasing the popularity of the Luberon region over recent years but the landscape and villages retain their timeless appeal. The local lavender, cherries, olives, truffles and wines are world-famous for good reason. Nowadays you can also enjoy paintballing or microlight-flying in the area, as well as a gourmet chocolate factory tour or a visit to a lavender distillery down the road in Apt. Climbing, hiking, riding and cycling are also popular, and there are plenty of marked paths. The Luberon is also one of the best places in France to observe the night-sky, and visitors are welcome at the St Michel Observatory of Haute Provence less than an hour's drive from this Luberon villa with pool Provence; quite a memorable experience

“ This is a super house in a wonderful part of France. If you want to get a good feel for what the Luberon is all about, then you will be very well placed at this property. A short 10-minute drive brings you to Apt, which is well known for its Saturday market: I can recommend the Bistro de France for lunch afterwards. Other attractive villages to visit are Gourdes, Roussillon, Goult, Bonnieux and Fontaine de Vaucluse, all of which are between a 10- & 30-minute drive: there is plenty to do in this area. ”

  • Perfect Holiday House

    Family from London, August 2014

We spent a perfect two weeks here in August. This is a really beautiful house and lovely garden with somewhere to sit in the sun or the shade, at every time of day. Views from the bedroom balcony are stunning too (great for evening drinks!).The vine is fully grown and so we ate every breakfast and lots of lunches under its shade. The house and kitchen are also generously equipped and nicely furnished. Best of all this house is just a 5 minute (uphill) walk to the village; which has 4 restaurants (two of which are excellent ) as well as two fantastic boulangerie, a boucherie and mini-market. Owner and local friends also very hospitable and friendly. We'll come again!
