Exclusive contemporary villa with pool and panoramic views over Mont Ventoux - Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Venasque, right at the foot of Mont Ventoux, overlooking vineyards and cherry orchards, this contemporary villa has tremendous appeal and stunning 360-degree views over the surrounding Provencal countryside.
The most distinguished feature of this unique property is its tower, evoking the three Medieval towers of Venasque, still visible today. However, there is nothing traditional about the interior; ultra-modern furnishings, high quality fittings and the use of neutral colours create a stylish accommodation, distributed over three floors and designed to enhance the impact of the views through floor-to-ceiling windows in all rooms. Terraces on two floors afford breathtaking views across the valley, over forested hills and the tranquil countryside. One of three 'Provence perched villages' (the others being Le Beaucet and La Roque-sur-Pernes), Venasque is a Medieval settlement clinging to a rocky peak which overlooks the valley below and is just over a mile away from Tour Saracene. Arguably one of the prettiest villages in Provence, Venasque still boasts steep lanes, quaint creamy stone houses and attractive ancient monuments. There is also a small selection of excellent restaurants serving local dishes, a perfect alternative to eating at home. Why not browse the market stalls at Pernes-les-Fontaines, a few miles away, to sample some local produce and delicacies such as lavender honey and French goats cheeses. Mont Ventoux, one of Provence's most remarkable landmarks, offers challenging opportunities for hiking, cycling or horse riding and probably the best views over this splendid region of Southern France.

“ If you like modern contemporary style this is the house for you and what views! Relax by the pool whilst enjoying the stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Five minutes away is Venasque which is one of the prettiest villages in Provence with some great small restaurants. Nearby are many small villages all full of character with small bars and restaurants and typical Provencal markets selling mouth-watering melons, plump tomatoes, juicy apricots, olive oils, lavender honey and typical goat cheese which perfectly complements the local rose wines. ”
