If like me you are a big fan of living in a village, this villa is perfect: you are within walking distance of La Garde Freinet, a lively village which boasts several restaurants, some with live music in the evening, such as le Kiosk and Le Carnotzet in the Place du Marche and La Faucado on the main street (you need have no concerns about drinking and driving as you can walk back to the house!). If you are feeling energetic there are wonderful walks up to the famous Cross above the village, from where there are panoramic views of the mountains and to the sea. There is also a food and clothing market on Sundays and Wednesdays in the village. You are of course within easy reach of St Tropez and the famous Pampelonne beach with its beach restaurants such as Club 55.

This is a semi-detached village house in a cul-de-sac. Its hillside position means the grounds are steeply terraced - care with young children.
Included: 2 hours maid service for two week rentals. Pool towels. Wi-Fi. Local Tourist Tax.
Extra: Pool heating & winter heating €150 per week each.
The Villa was generally very good and in a really good position. Niggles: Cracked glasses in the cupboard. Pool heating stopped sometime in 2nd week. No ceiling fans. Great: End of washing machine cycle tune! Cleanliness of Villa generally. From Quality Villas : the niggles listed have been reported to the owner for attention and will be resolved for the next season.
