St Tropez family villa with sea views - Tucked away in an exclusive private domain just a couple of miles from Ste Maxime, its sandy beaches, lovely marina, shops and restaurants, this villa enjoys splendid views over the Mediterranean Sea across the Gulf of St Tropez.
The interior decor of Marinelle is simple and unassuming, with a tasteful blend of maritime colours appropriate for a seaside villa. Balconies and terraces extend the living space of this property, which lends itself to easy living, creating several outdoor spots for resting, dining or relaxing in the Jacuzzi and the pool whilst enjoying striking views over the bay. This villa is ideally suited for families with children who would feel 'at home' whilst enjoying an exciting holiday in Southern France.
Just a couple of miles down the road is charming Ste Maxime, one of the gems of the French Riviera. A lively seaside resort with a charming marina, shops ranging from small typical French markets to large shopping centres and restaurants, Ste Maxime also offers opportunities to play golf, tennis and practise all sorts of water sports. Memorable family summer days can be spent by the beach in Plage Nartelle or Les Issambres, whilst the forested hills of the Maures provide the perfect setting for walking, hiking and horse-riding. The glitz and glamour of St Tropez could not be easier to reach on the regular ferry service across the bay, but many pretty coastal and hilltop villages offer an attractive alternative. Grimaud, Gassin, Ramatuelle, Plan de la Tour and La Garde Freinet are all within easy reach of Marinelle.

Ideal place for a family who want to have a holiday in Southern France. Just imagine yourself sitting on the terrace at the end of the day sipping a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset across St Tropez bay. You must visit St Tropez and its well stocked Saturday and Tuesday markets. Why not take the ferry across the bay, there is one departing every half-an-hour, so you can avoid all the traffic. If you need a rest after all the shopping, have a drink at one of the trendy bars like Senequiers in the Port and gaze at the amazing yachts and the 'beautiful people'.”
The villa, for us, was perfect.
The villa, for us, was perfect. It was very typically French with a 'lived in' feel about it. The views were fantastic and being perched at the top of the private community was not overlooked. The pool heating was excellent and although Sylvie, despite requesting that it be turned on in advance, only put the heating on as we arrived, the pool was hot enough in a day or so. Ideally suited to a couple of families with kids due to four of the beds being bunk-beds, the only thing to be aware of is that there is just one family bathroom/toilet as the second is an en-suite to the master bedroom. All-in-all a great place to stay. So much so that we barely left the villa during the day, only venturing out at night to St Maxime or taking the boat across to St Tropez.
