Just a 45-minute drive from Toulouse airport, in the Quercy region of southern France you’ll find the charming Bastide town of Castelsagrat. The focus of the town is very much the Place de la Liberte, where the principle church stands. Surrounded by wonderful 13th and 14th century arcaded stone buildings, it’s a lovely place to stroll round. Side streets slope away from the square where you’ll find more beautiful medieval houses. Being in the countryside, this is the perfect place to mount your bike and explore the peaceful rolling hills of southern France. The villages of Brossac, Montjoi and Beauville are nearby.
