“ This property is wonderful for its seclusion without being isolated and has lovely grounds. The delight on guests' faces when they arrive here is wonderful and many return. The kitchen is the best equipped there is and commented on by all who stay here. One client said it resembled a “kitchen equipped like Masterchef”. Lovely linens and each bedroom is equipped with toiletries and magazines. ”

Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks holiday in this beautiful house! Very well equipped throughout - probably the best we have had in over 25 years of holiday homes.... and lots of hot water! Sad to leave and will recommend to others . (Review shared with Quality Villas from the guest book in the villa, Sept 2017)

Two weeks of utter peace
Mr, Mrs Thompson
We have had a brilliant two weeks in this beautiful peaceful location. Not to mention the fab pool. Weather has been superb, except for one day, so we have been extremely lucky. Two weeks of utter peace and relaxation. "Review shared by Owner from house book'
The house did not disappoint
Once we left Touffailles the property was easy to find from the instructions given and it was pleasing to find a good drive leading to the property. The house did not disappoint and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. The outside furniture was certainly appreciated being wood rather than plastic. The pool and its surrounding area is great. It was a pleasure to stroll the parkland and the stone bench could not be better placed. We have left a list of birds seen or heard at the property and I have identified over 85 wild flower species. It was nice to observe that islands were left in the grassland to allow wildflowers to thrive. The garden was awash with butterflies including the swallowtail. Writing this sitting in the evening sunshine
Mr, Mrs S
Writing this sitting in the evening sunshine on the ''west terrace' on our last evening. We have had another glorious 2 weeks here - a couple of rainy and grey days but otherwise the sun has shone. As last year we've enjoyed the house and pool (The new steps are great - thank you!) We've played tennis in Touffailles, discovered some new circular early morning runs and found some lovely things in the craft shop in Laureate. Gill prepared the house beautifully for us, brought us up to date on local news and was an every helpful presence in the background. This is a lovely house in a wonderful setting - something that is hard to find elsewhere. We are da to be leaving. Review shared by Owner from house book
