“ Capri is a pearl of the Tyrrhenian sea, a unique island known all over the world for its beauty and striking panoramic views. During your holiday make sure your itinerary includes a visit to the little bays of Tragara, with the unrivalled view over the Faraglioni (the cliffs), Pizzo Lungo, Marina Piccola, Arco Naturale and Punta Carena. In Marina Grande you will see old fishing boats moored in the harbour and, if you are not scared of heights, why not take the chair-lift up to Mount Solaro, enjoying the views from the summit of the mountain. Grotta of Matermania (Matermania Grotto) is also well worth a visit. For a bit of culture, Villa Jovis and Villa Damecuta are part of the Roman heritage of this island, as well as Giardini di Augusto, the gardens of the Emperor Augustus. At Bagni di Tiberio (Tiberius’ Baths) you can still see the original Roman walls and the natural pools from the times of the Emperor Tiberius. After exploring the island, don’t forget to stop in one of the many open-air cafes of the renowned Piazzetta di Capri and watch the world go by until dinner time, when you can choose from a wide variety of gourmet restaurants and Pizzerias especially in Anacapri. ”
