“ This villa is particularly convenient if you want the best of all worlds from your holiday. You're in the heart of the countryside, yet just a short train ride from all the wonders of Rome. For a change of pace, a little over an hour away is Lake Bracciano, which is noted for the cleanliness of its water: you can swim here, sail or windsurf. A charming place. ”
we all loved it,
Just to let you know that we had a wonderful stay at Villa Orazio. The villa is very a very charming rustic home, we all loved it, the gardens are beautiful and well tended and the pool was kept clean by the gardener who came every day. We were greeted by Rosa who showed us around the villa, she is a lovely lady, so very friendly. The owner was in contact with us throughout our stay to make sure that everything was okay, she also left us a welcome package of wine, bread and cheese which we thoroughly enjoyed. We enjoyed several meals at the restaurant about 10 minutes walk away, very friendly owner and staff. We would highly recommend the villa to anyone who likes a quiet relaxing holiday
Location: superb! Great countryside, Rome reachable by train. Villa: very rustic and cluttered, but basically sound (although shabby). Kettle and toaster didn't work but immediately replaced. Very efficient local contact: she was great!
