Elegant village farmhouse with spa near Lucca - Situated in the quaint Tuscan village of Montemagno, in the splendid countryside between Lucca and Camaiore, this beautiful 19th century farmhouse has been tastefully refurbished and transformed into an elegant vacation villa. Wrought iron bedsteads, hand crafted furniture, stone fireplaces and exposed beams are all original features of this villa, yet the use of light, muted colours brings a contemporary edge. The relaxation room with hammam, sauna and large Jacuzzi offers a tranquil escape where guests can even treat themselves to a professional massage on request.
Pieve di Camaiore, so called due to its close proximity to the old local church (Pieve), enjoys a wonderful location overlooking the sleepy local village to the rear, and bordered by peaceful countryside to the front and surrounding the pool. Just a short stroll away is a good restaurant serving excellent local cuisine. Locally, countless trails will take you to discover the Natural Park of the Apuane Alps, the unique backdrop of Pieve di Camaiore.

“ This villa ticks all the boxes, excellent accommodation and superb location. Holiday rental in a very quiet position but close enough to many entertainments. Today the Versilia is still one of the finest regions in Italy that attracts both Italian and foreign tourists. It is the white beach area closest to Florence in Tuscany in the province of Lucca which extends from Forte dei Marmi, commonly called 'il Forte' , passing through Pietrasanta, Camaiore, Viareggio and Torre del Lago. La Versiliana beach encompasses several miles of beautiful clean white sandy beaches, restaurants and shops characterised by traditional Tuscany welcome and comfort. In Camaiore, the 'Tappeti di Segatura' (Sawdust Rugs) festival takes place every year. In July and August you can see the 'Puccini Festival' in Torre del Lago. ”
