Siena countryside family villa Conveniently located south of Siena, Biancaserena is a modern villa surrounded by the typical, idyllic Tuscan landscape of vine-clad hills, extensive olive groves and cypress trees, dotted with picturesque hilltop villages such as Cetona, just under a mile away.

Large windows and doors create a light, airy and spacious feel to this villa, which lends itself to easy living, ideal for families wishing to experience a relaxed Italian lifestyle. The sizeable pool is built on a lower terrace, where most stunning views of the village can be enjoyed in this tranquil setting.

The historic village of Cetona has plenty of fascinating shops, restaurants and pizzerias, as well as beautiful medieval palaces, Romanesque churches and squares. Extensive trails criss-cross Mount Cetona, the highest peak of Val di Chiana, ideal for hiking, horse-riding or cycling through unspoilt woodland.

Arts and wine lovers alike will be delighted to visit Montepulciano, known for its Vino Nobile and Montalcino, famous all over the world for its prestigious Brunello. Everywhere in this area you will be able to soak up inspiring sceneries, discover natural and artistic treasures, enjoy delicious gastronomic delicacies combined with some of the most famous wines in the world. “ The biggest "wow" factor here surely has to be the position of this lovely villa right on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. You can enjoy expansive views of this stunning countryside from the villa, the pool and the garden. And when you want to explore the area, there are several lovely towns and cities within easy reach. Vineyards and olive trees are the typical features of the landscape. Terraced hills and valleys rich in rivers, castles, churches and wonderful buildings dot the countryside. The closest village to Biancaserena is Cetona, an Etruscan village. Strolling along its small paved roads, between noble palazzi and Renaissance piazzas, you'll feel drawn to a timeless dimension. Excellent food and superb restaurants. Local dishes include: olive-oil, wines, pici (a kind of thick spaghetti made by hand) and Chianina steak. ”
