Positano small villa with sea views - Perched on a cliffside overlooking the splendid bay of Positano, this pretty, little villa for four with air conditioning enjoys an enviable situation for exploring many gems along the Amalfi Coast, both by boat and by car, with the added bonus of having direct access to a pebble beach via the nearby funicular lift. The typical Mediterranean setting is simply enchanting and encompasses hibiscus, agavi plants and maritime pine trees. At a short distance is also a convenient minimarket delivering groceries directly onto your doorstep, on request.
The interior of Il Gabbiano is small yet tastefully furnished and decorated in typical Mediterranean style, using blue ceramic tiles against cool white walls. Sunlight and a gentle maritime breeze flow through the French doors into the open-plan living area. The large terrace is the perfect spot from which to enjoy the spectacular panorama.
You will find plenty of restaurants, shops and bars in buzzing Positano close by, but don't miss out on a visit to Amalfi or to Ravello, both of which are also very special places. One of the best ways to discover the stunning beauty of the Amalfi coast is from the sea itself. Boat trips are available to the islands of Capri or Ischia, as well as to other places on the coast. You can even charter your own boat for the day and discover your very own little cove! There are plenty of places to visit for the day, such as Pompei or Herculaneum, or Mount Vesuvius where you can climb up to the crater and admire the views over the Bay of Naples. Both by day and by night the Amalfi coast boasts an incredible and irresistible charm!

For those who wish to come here by car, private parking is available just few metres from the lift. The local minimarket can also deliver your shopping directly to your doorstep, for a small extra charge. The whole coastline stretching from the Gulf of Naples to the Gulf of Salerno is a unique scenic area and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
