Quality Villas Team

Our team at Quality Villas have an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience. They visit the villas in France, Italy and Morocco (Some of the photos are from staff overseas visits)  to ensure that they have a hands on feel for the range of villas we represent - and of course to experience the regions we create holidays in. Working in the Quality Villas office is a unique experience as the multi-lingual team slip between languages as they converse with our villa owners.  Hear below from some of our team...

Our team's experience

Everywhere I have visited with Quality Villas has shown me that not only in Cannes will you get the red carpet treatment, not only in St Tropez will you feel like a celebrity and not only in Grasse will you enjoy the fragrances of the ambient air! I have been on many trips to view a wide range of properties, carefully hand-picked to suit all tastes and requirements. In all the places I have travelled to and the villas I have stayed in, I instantaneously aspired to the stress-free way of life and fell straight into a holiday mode… thoroughly soaking in the ambiance, enjoying the sense of getting away from it all… and what’s more, in the sun and in luxurious properties! C’est chic, c’est fantastique! Every region, every season has its own charm, history, cultural identity, wine specialities… Food for thought? Bon appétit everyone! Tuscany in December was a particular treat for me, capturing the true ‘Dolce Vita’! I have nothing but enchanting memories - from the aristocratic villa I stayed in, the genuine warmth of the owners’ welcome, the high quality local fresh produce, the superb Italian cuisine… to a wonderful recollection of the garden magnificently lit in the evenings and the smell of the giant lemons still on the trees. It was simply magical!

…I've always loved travelling and in my 14 years with Quality Villas I’ve been lucky enough to visit just about every corner of France and Italy (and bits of Morocco too).  I've met many of our lovely owners and seen lots and lots of really beautiful homes; that has to be my favourite part of the job. I still can't decide which region I prefer, so when asked I usually claim the one I visited most recently as my favourite! For me the idea of a villa holiday is all about freedom; wake when you want, eat when you want, sleep when you want; no timetables and no deadlines, just blissful relaxation - that's what a holiday should be.

I fell in love with France six years ago, on my very first trip to the Cote d’Azur with Quality Villas and I have been hungry for more ever since. I simply adore waking up to blissful Mediterranean sea views in the French Riviera, or immerse in the tranquillity of the more rural South West. Quaint medieval villages, elegant chateaux, Provencal markets, lavender fields and vineyards are all iconic images of a country I am so fond of, and I am passionate about helping others appreciate its beauty and hidden treasures. Talking about artistic treasures, did you know that Italy boasts 70% of the entire world’s heritage? A very good reason to visit another splendid country encompassing an incredibly rich variety of landscapes, cultures, wine and gastronomic delicacies. A holiday in a Quality Villa means you can have all this at your fingertips as and when you wish, and you don’t have to compromise on comforts and relax. Wishing you all a fabulous holiday!

Villa holidays can be anything you want them to be. If I close my eyes I can see my son’s then 3 year old face taking in his first sight of the main square in Marrakech, Morocco. He was entranced. Medicine men sold their wares, ladies sold handmade baskets, mopeds whizzed by, we drank bucket loads of freshly squeezed orange juice  - and my son met a snake charmer!  “What is that man saying” was the question as the call to prayer came over the speakers. “Why is he banging so hard” as we watched craftsmen making lamps in the Souks… why, why, why.  The questions kept coming ... it was all so new, so different. We stayed in a fully staffed villa in Morocco. All our meals were fabulous and homemade by our cook. The villa came with a car so we would get up, have our breakfast and a swim in our own pool, head into Marrakech on our own, dodging the horse and carts, and mopeds. When we got back to the villa, my husband and I took it in turn to go and have some treatments at the spa around the corner. Our villa was totally enclosed so we felt very safe.  We returned waxing lyrical about our trip.

During my time at Quality Villas I have had the pleasure of visiting some wonderful towns, villages, and, of course, villas. Particularly fond memories include visiting the island of Capri, with its famous Blue Grotto and hiking trails of Anacapri, and discovering La Garoupe beach in Antibes. The Amalfi and Cilento coasts also produced some delightful surprises - the razzmatazz of Salerno and delightful peace & quiet of Scario in particular spring to mind! It has been of particular pleasure for me to draw on these experiences in order to advise clients on the right holiday for them based on their specific preferences and requirements. At Quality Villas we also pride ourselves on our complementary concierge service, and helping to ensure holidays run as smoothly as possible. This gives me great satisfaction.

Having just returned from my first Quality Villas trip (September 2017), I was delighted to discover how varied the region of Cote d’Azur is-it really does has something to offer for everyone. The art deco elegance of Nice had all of the glamour that I was expecting, with cafes, bars and restaurants and blue seas dotted with boats and stretching toward the horizon. As a beach lover, it’s usually impossible to drag me from the sea’s edge, so I was surprised to find myself falling in love with the verdant hills and picturesque villages a little further back from the coastline. Photos simply cannot do justice to the jaw dropping views from these hilltops, and you get a sense of typical French charm by exploring the winding cobbled streets, looking up at the shuttered windows, and tasting regional specialities in a more traditional setting than the bright lights of the lively coast nearby.
