Morocco beach family holiday villa - relax by the pool, soak up the sun and enjoy the sea views at Dar Takama, a beautiful beachside villa just 2 miles from the seaside village of Aglou Plage and 56 miles south of Agadir. This beautifully furnished Moorish style villa offers wonderful sea views and a large pool terrace.
This domaine is a luxurious oasis offering a sense of escapism in a remote landscape; miles of deserted sandy beach, the vast Atlantic sea stretching to the horizon, and mountains providing the backdrop. But you'll find everything you need at the seaside village of Aglou Plage just two miles away by car, although if you want to stretch your legs you can also walk to the village along the beach. There is a lovely promenade with a few beachside restaurants, as well as a grocery store selling fresh bread. Just outside the village, local fishermen sell their fresh-caught fish, squid, crab and lobster at the fish market.
A car is a must so you can venture further afield; head inland to the traditional walled town of Tiznit, which is steeped in Moroccan history and culture. Here you will find more restaurants, banks, shops and colourful souks selling all manner of fresh produce and leather goods, with a labyrinth of silver jewellery shops at the centre. A pleasant 25 minute drive south along the coast brings you to Mirleft where you'll find a market each Monday as well as French and ethnic restaurants: in the Old Fort there is a wonderful Moroccan restaurant with lovely views.
Sports enthusiasts have plenty of choice, with quad biking, deep sea fishing, surfing, hang-gliding, paragliding, 4x4 adventures and horse-riding all available in the area.

“ One of several villas we represent on this superb beachside domain. The domain manager is excellent and ensures guests have a wonderful, carefree holiday. We can arrange airport transfers and chef services for you, and your hire car can be delivered to the door. With the beach so close by, what more could you ask! I know these villas well and holiday here myself, so I can say in all honesty that standards are excellent. I particularly like the occasional Indonesian touches in the furnishings at Dar Takama. I recommend a visit to nearby Aglou Plage in the morning to buy the freshest fish and seafood ever – the fishermen sell their catch at the hardbour - and don’t overlook the towns of Mirleft and Tiznit. Tiznit is famous for its silverware and it has excellent food markets in the town and in the walled Medina – a real experience! ”
Our stay December 2013
A great spacious, clean and well presented villa with a great view French and/or Arabic a must for English and/or other nationals as there is no on-site management (but communication via telephone always on hand) Maid and cooking service excellent and all staff very accommodating Hot water supply limited. We were a party of 5 and battled The villa needs some minor maintenance (TLC) But a great place to relax and that we did enjoy
