Marrakech luxury villa with tennis court and heated pool - formerly the country residence of a French colonel, Villa Damali is an elegant, fully staffed and catered villa set in walled gardens with spectacular mountain views from the roof terrace. This villa represents a very successful fusion of Moroccan and Mediterranean-style living. Traditional building and decoration techniques are used to great effect, with Tadelakt plasterwork and Zeliges tiling contributing to the luxurious atmosphere. The roof terrace is one of several particularly pleasant places to relax, furnished as it is in a traditional Moorish style, and ideal for convivial dining under the stars. The views from here towards the Atlas Mountains are wonderful. Marrakech is known as " the Red City" or Al Hamra, and its focal point is the famous Jemaa al Fna square and Koutoubia minaret. It has a labyrinthine medina (old city) and colourful, exotic bazaars. The square really starts to come alive in the late afternoon and evening, when snake charmers, musicians, food tents and jugglers will keep you entertained and fascinated for hours. This exceptional villa is available for groups of 12, 8, 6 or 4 people and comes fully staffed and fully catered: this includes continental or English breakfast, a two-course lunch or a picnic, tea with home-made biscuits, a three-course dinner (European or Moroccan cuisine) and all the soft drinks and water that you require. The discreet and helpful staff will respect your privacy and do their utmost to ensure that everyone in the party enjoys a relaxing holiday a this Marrakech luxury villa with tennis court and heated pool.

I loved this villa the moment I saw it! It offers the height of excellence for a family holiday; beautiful furnishings and a wonderful atmosphere. Latif and his team are great, nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and he speaks perfect English. Drinking the complimentary mint tea and eating delicious home-made biscuits under the covered terrace, overlooking the garden, was sublime! If you can draw yourselves away from the wonderful meals provided here, do take a trip into Marrakech to visit the sights and the souks, which are the best I have ever been to. You will find superb leathers, colourful fabrics and ceramics for sale here, as well as many other wonderful items.

We stayed at Villa Damali the first week of April. We were a party of 14 with 6 children between 2 - 7. The service from the moment we were collected from the airport until the end of the holiday was impeccable and very professional. I would describe the villa as providing a boutique hotel 5 star service - just for us. The food each day was home made and delicious. The staff were happy to make us an early tea for the children and could arrange taxis for us at a moments notice. The pool is the perfect size for Adults to swim a good length and the beach entrance was great fun for the younger kids. The grounds are enclosed and flat so great for children. The tennis court was in good condition for the adults and the indoor table tennis was much appreciated during the midday heat. The villa is hard to photograph and is much more elegant than the photos show. We have stayed in two other Quality Villas properties with the same party and felt that the level of service coupled with the quality of the villa made this our favourite for a big group. There are various covered areas for lunch and dinner and the evening terrace with sunsets and the snow capped Atlas mountains in the background was amazing! I would highly recommend this villa.
